Step 1:Start after wringing out water

Choose a natural fabric dress ,wet the part below the waist 

Step 2:Tie little balls on the Dress

Rubber bands should be tied into an irregular shape,you can tie the gaps between balls on the backside .The balls gradually getting larger from the waist to the hemline .

Attention :The space between balls must be as small as possible 

Step 3:Dye the Dress

Prepare some hotwater ,add 5g indigo dye and some salt

Put the tied part into dye for 20 minutes

Then add more 5g indigo dye into the water and soak 2/3 of the tied part for 20 minutes

And add another more 5g indigo dye to the water for the last dye ,soak 1/3of the part for  10mins 

Hang it for half an hour   

Step 4:Create your fixture

Fixative:Water=1:10

Soak the dyed part in water for 30 mins


Step 5:Air-Dry

Remove the rubber bands 

Hang to dry completely


At last ,the dress should be :

Wash separately with other colors of clothing

Hand wash with warm soapy water

Avoid exposure to the sun
