Shona Wilson and Her Unique Organic Mandalas Sculptures
Today, I would like to talk about a contemporary Australian sculptor, Shona Wilson, who is one of my favorate sculptor artists. The materials of her works are related nature such as seeds, bark, resin, bones, etc..The creative starting point is the mandalas. She regroups and arranges the collected materials to form them into an intricate shape, which looks like snowflakes, laces, mandalas, etc. The patterns she create are not only very natural in appearance, but also like weaving works.
What interests me most is that the organic sculptures she created are all natural, thus achieving the resonance of form and material, expressing her love of nature, and ultimately revealing the inseparability of humanbeings and nature.
Show you some works of her:

If you have interest, you could view her website at shonawilson.com.
