Easy Ways to DIY a Rope Bowl Container

Have you ever been crazy about your chaotic desktop? It's time to follow me to DIY a container to hold all the messy things together. Distinct from the normal storage baskets or glass-ceramic storage containers, this time I will teach you to make a simple but good-looking rope bowl. If you like it, please following my account. Step 1:Prepare tools and materials you will need.

1.      Cotton Rope (You could choose different thickness according to your own preferences, but it is relatively simple to choose a thicker one)

2.      Small Brush

3.      Acrylic Paint

4.      Scissors

5.      Hot Melt Glue Gun

Step 2:Put a little hot glue at the end of the cotton rope. Then roll it up tightly into a small Spiral shape.

Step 3:Keep rolling the remaining rope around the center in to a round pie shape as the bottom part of the bowl container. Pay attention to that you need to put the hot-melt on the outside of the rope in this step.

Step 4:The larger the bottom part is, the larger the final bowl container will be. So, the rope bowl container size is depended on you.

Step 5:After the bottom part is done, we will start the side part of the bowl. Remember that here we need to put the hot-melt glue over the top of the rope.

Step 6:Once the bowl container reaches your height you want it to be, cut off the excess rope. You could put some jewelries in a relatively shallow bowl container and fruit or cosmetics in a relatively deep one.

Step 7:Glue and fix the fibers at the ends of the rope to prevent them from loosening.

Step 8:Decorate the shades with some shades of color. Let it stand for a while, then a rope bowl container is ready!
